MindScreen does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use the service. You can complete a screening anonymously.

Your answers before email unlock

While you are completing a screening, your answers are stored only in your browser's localStorage. They are not sent to our servers at this stage. If you close or refresh the page before finishing, your progress is lost.

If you save your result with an email

When you enter your email to unlock your full result, we store the following securely on our servers for up to 90 days: your email address, screening type, your answers, your score, and your result summary. This is what allows us to send you a copy of your result and let you access it again later.

We do not sell your health screening data. We use saved screening, weekly check-in, and conversation prep data only to provide the MindScreen service: result access, the private vault/history view, pattern timeline, appointment prep, checkout verification, paid report generation, bundle redemption, recovery, support, export, deletion, and limited follow-up emails. After 90 days, saved session, check-in, and prep data is automatically deleted unless you delete it sooner.

AI-generated report text

Some free and paid report text is generated with AI. To create that text, MindScreen may send the screening condition, score, indicator band, category scores, and related saved screening data to OpenAI, our AI processing provider. Conversation prep AI assist is not enabled, so user-written prep notes are not sent to OpenAI for prep generation. We do not send payment card details to the AI provider. AI text is used to make the summary easier to read; it is not medical advice, diagnosis, professional care, or crisis support.

Email communications

If you provide your email, we will send you a copy of your saved result and, if you have not purchased the full report, a short follow-up sequence (up to 3 emails over 3 days) reminding you it is available. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. We do not send marketing emails unrelated to your screening.

Payment processing

Payments for optional single reports and report bundles are handled by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. MindScreen does not see or store your payment card details. Stripe's privacy policy governs how your payment information is handled. We receive confirmation that payment was completed and use that confirmation to unlock the relevant saved screening session or bundle credits.

Analytics

We collect limited usage data (for example, which screens are viewed and whether checkout starts) to improve the service. Analytics events use a fixed allowlist and do not store raw quiz answers, raw search queries, email addresses, score values, or band values. Recent event logs expire after 30 days. Aggregated daily and condition-level counters expire after 180 days.

Refunds and delete-data requests

To recover saved results, weekly check-ins, conversation prep, or a paid individual report, use the report recovery page. If saved history or eligible paid reports exist, we send a signed, expiring vault link to the email used for checkout, saving a result, saving a weekly check-in, or saving prep. The link can show condition, date, score band, free/paid state, check-in summaries, prep summaries, and report access links, but it does not place raw answers, raw check-in values, private notes, prep content, or payment details in the URL. With a valid vault link, you can export a JSON personal copy of saved screening summaries, weekly check-in summaries, and conversation prep. To request deletion of saved screening, check-in, or prep data before the 90-day expiry, use the delete-data controls in settings; we send a signed expiring confirmation link before deleting saved MindScreen data. Stripe/payment records needed for refunds, tax, fraud prevention, or legal obligations may be retained separately. To request a refund under the satisfaction guarantee, email support@mindscreen.co with the email used at checkout and a brief note. We aim to review support requests within 7 days.

Age and location

MindScreen is designed for general adult self-reflection. If you are under 18, use it with support from a parent, guardian, or qualified professional. Availability, care pathways, and emergency options vary by country, so use local services where appropriate.
